Recipe: SoL Mango Smoothie

Summer’s not quite over, and this tropical drink is the perfect way to savor summer while it’s still here.  It’s dairy- and gluten-free, so it’s great for those with food allergies.  The combination of Mango, flaxseeds and our SoL Sunflower Beverage results in a smoothie that’s brimming with nutrients while still tasting downright delicious!

Ingredients:

1/2 Tbsp ground flaxseeds

1 ripe banana, sliced

1/2 fresh mango, pitted and sliced

3/4 cup SoL Sunflower Beverage (Original or Vanilla)

1/2  tsp coconut flakes

1/4  tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup ice cubes

Yields 2 Smoothies

Directions:

1.) Put all ingredients in a food processor or blender.  Blend until smooth.

2.) Pour smoothies into glasses.  Enjoy!
